$100.00

4 Contact Hour CEs

5-9 PM

Location: 2135 SE 76th Ave, Portland, OR 97215

Having been forced by injury to make some significant changes to my style of bodywork, especially when working with the neck, I’ve discovered that it is possible to not only do effective work on the neck in the side lying position, but that the side lying position affords a unique access point to allow work that can’t be done as easily or effectively in other positions.

We will first take a tour of the anatomy of the neck to get a deeper understanding of where and how we will be working. Then we will explore the possibilities that the side lying position can offer Integrative Manual Therapy. Highlights include cleaning the Splenius Pocket, eye engagements to release the suboccipitals, and a safe, effective way to work with the anterior cervical muscles.
